Maury Mountain Moss Agate Copper Wire Wrapped Pendant
Details
This one of a kind pendant features Maury Mountain moss agate hand collected in Central Oregon and wire wrapped in oxidized copper. Known for its landscape like inclusions, this agate carries layered greens and organic movement that evoke forest forms shaped slowly by mineral rich water and time.
I cut, shaped, and polished this cabochon by hand before wrapping it freehand in oxidized copper. The wirework follows the natural contours of the stone rather than a fixed pattern, allowing the agate to guide the design. Each curve and coil was placed with intention, honoring both the material and the process.
Maury Mountain moss agate is often called a landscape stone for its depth and natural imagery. This piece reflects that quiet complexity, offering a grounded presence shaped by desert terrain, careful craftsmanship, and patience.
Collected from Central Oregon and finished by hand, this pendant carries the feeling of a forest held in stone, created for those drawn to subtle detail, endurance, and natural forms that reveal themselves slowly.

Materials + Care
I prioritize quality and integrity in every piece I offer, working with natural stone, thoughtfully selected metals, and materials chosen for durability and long term wear or display. Many stones are personally collected, cut, or finished by hand, while others are sourced from trusted suppliers who share the same respect for material and process.
Jewelry pieces are designed for regular wear but benefit from gentle handling. Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, chemicals, or impact. Oxidized metals may naturally shift in tone over time and can be lightly polished if desired.
Finished specimens, raw material, and lapidary slabs are left as close to their natural state as possible. These pieces are intended for display, collection, or lapidary use and should be handled with care to preserve natural surfaces and features.
Natural variations in color, texture, inclusions, and form are expected and are part of what makes each piece one of a kind.
