Recommended Businesses & Collaborators

This page highlights a small selection of artists, shops, and places I personally recommend. These businesses reflect values I care about, including craftsmanship, creativity, ethical practices, and respect for the land.

Recommendations may include fellow rock shops, independent artists, miners, and locations that have been part of my journey or align closely with the spirit of Earth’s Wylde Wanderer. Inclusion on this page is based on personal experience and genuine appreciation, not paid promotion.

I encourage you to explore their work and support small, independent businesses whenever possible

Rock Your World

Rock Your World holds a special place in my journey as both a rockhound and an artist. Located on the Oregon Coast, this shop is rooted in genuine love for geology, education, and community. It’s a space where curiosity is encouraged and questions are welcomed, whether you’re brand new to stones or deeply immersed in the craft.

My connection with Rock Your World grew through shared respect for the land, ethical sourcing, and the joy of learning. The team’s knowledge, openness, and support played a meaningful role in my growth, and I trust them completely as a resource for quality material and honest guidance. If you ever find yourself in Lincoln City, this is a place worth stepping into slowly and exploring with intention.

GlassNStuff

Glass N Stuff is a glass artist whose work carries both warmth and intention. I commissioned a heart from her as a way to honor the shared love of hearts between my grandmother and me, and the result was something deeply meaningful. The care she put into translating that sentiment into glass made the piece feel personal, not just beautiful.

Her work reflects patience, sensitivity, and a genuine understanding that some creations carry stories far beyond their form. If you’re looking for glass art that feels thoughtful and made with heart, this is an artist I truly recommend.

Double Eagle Mining Co.

Double Eagle Mine is where all of my Oregon sunstones to date have been sourced, and it’s a place I recommend with full confidence. I’ve spent time at their mine personally, working material straight from the ground and experiencing their operation firsthand.

What truly sets Double Eagle apart is the people. The team is exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure visitors feel welcomed, informed, and supported throughout the experience. Their option to lease a virgin pile of ore for the day allows you to work untouched material at your own pace, guided by people who care deeply about both the stones and the experience of finding them.

If you’re interested in Oregon sunstones and want a hands on mining experience that combines opportunity, transparency, and top notch stewardship, Double Eagle Mining is absolutely worth the trip.
